Neighborhood Patrolling

Is an effort to bring interested members of our Neighborhood Crime Watch program together with the Dallas Police Department to patrol our respective neighborhoods.  The main purpose of this program is in providing the visible presence of citizen patrols to deter criminal activity.

 

 Citizen's Helping in Parking Solutions

Allows specially trained  volunteers to issue handicap parking citations in the Oakcliff area. Through strenthened enforcement and increased public education, citizens are not only made aware of the challenges facing disabled Americans but also encouraged to become more sensitive to their needs.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Be in good health
  • Have no criminal record
  • No felony convictions and/or A or B misdemeanors within the last two years
  • Must be a member of the 24-7 Crime Watch for 6 months or appointed

Operation ID:

Engravers are given to you on loan to mark your property with your drivers license number  or address. If your property is stolen and recovered by the Police department it will be returned to you. Also, you are given a form to fill out on the contents of your home, charting all serial numbers.
